The Christ Frequency

Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 September 2026

This page explains what happens to your information when you visit thechristfrequency.live or give me your email address. The short version: I collect your email so I can send you the free 7-day starter guide and occasional letters. I do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Gideon George, author of The Christ Frequency. If you have a question about your information, write to georgegideon@gmail.com and I will answer personally.

What I collect

• Your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it, when you sign up for the free 7-day starter guide through any form on this site.
• Basic email engagement data — whether a message was opened or a link inside it was clicked — recorded by the email service described below.

I do not ask for, and this site does not collect, payment details, physical addresses, dates of birth, or any other personal information.

What I do with it

• Send you the free 7-day starter guide.
• Send occasional letters about the book, new writing, and related work.
• Understand in aggregate which messages are useful, so I write fewer poor ones.

That is the whole list. Your email is never used for anything you did not sign up for.

Who else touches your data

A small number of services are involved, and each only sees what it needs:

• Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores the email list and delivers the guide and any letters. Your email address is held on Kit's systems and handled under Kit's privacy policy.
• Payhip and Selar handle book purchases. If you buy the book, you leave this site and complete the purchase on their platform under their own terms and privacy policies. Your payment details are entered there, never here — I never see or store your card information.
• Google Analytics counts visits to these pages so I can see which pages people actually read. See the cookies section below.

Web fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font files. No other third party receives your information from this site.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising pixel. Nothing here follows you around the internet or builds a profile to sell you things.

It does run Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-T8V626G577), which sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_T8V626G577 to tell a returning visitor from a new one. What I see from it is aggregate: how many people came, which pages they read, roughly which country they came from, and whether they arrived from a search, a link or an email. It does not tell me who you are, and I do not join it to your email address. Google receives this data as a processor and handles it under Google's privacy policy.

You can switch it off: use your browser's “do not track” or cookie-blocking settings, browse privately, or install Google's official opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

How long it is kept

Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, Kit marks the record as unsubscribed and stops all sending; you can ask me to delete it outright and I will.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of every email I send. One click, no questions, no attempt to talk you out of it.
• See, correct, or delete whatever I hold about you — email georgegideon@gmail.com and I will act on it.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them. If a child has signed up, write to me and I will remove the record.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how your email is used will also be announced in an email to the list.
